The three paintings I chose as my artifacts reveal a lot about who I am as a person, student, and community member. These works, created over the past year, show my detail-oriented nature and resilience as both an artist and student. They demonstrate my strong work ethic and my love for the ocean, which is a recurring theme in my art. Each piece reflects my growth during challenging times, like my experiences at Suffolk University. My art uses visual and spatial elements—lighting, color, and subject matter—to tell stories, and I see my maturity as both an artist and individual through these pieces.
