Curator's Note
The three paintings I chose as my artifacts reveal a lot about who I am as a person, student, and community member. These works, created over the past year, show my detail-oriented nature and resilience as both an artist and student. They demonstrate my strong work ethic and my love for the ocean, which is a recurring theme in my art. Each piece reflects my growth during challenging times, like my experiences at Suffolk University. My art uses visual and spatial elements—lighting, color, and subject matter—to tell stories, and I see my maturity as both an artist and individual through these pieces. Ultimately, my portfolio highlights the importance of creativity in both art and writing, inviting viewers to interpret the stories behind my work.

Creativity is a skill that I am proud to possess. I incorporate it into my everyday life, in school, extracurriculars, and leisurely activities. Having a creative eye and sharing new ideas is beneficial in every way. On the left is another example of some more art I have recently done.
I would describe myself as someone who has gathered a strong skillset that ranges through all the different aspects of my life. This includes but is not limited to analytical skills, leadership and communication skills. These skills make me not only effective at problem solving, but also at creating connections with people.
